CBA Partner Schools

CBA works with six partner schools: Fenwick, Daystar, Timothy, Montini, Walther, and BIS South Loop. Students receive their formal education at a partner school, while CBA connects school selection with housing, academic support, and day-to-day guidance.

What do the school and CBA each provide?

The school provides formal classes and assessment and determines grade placement and course eligibility. CBA connects housing and student support to help students settle into school life and sustain their learning. Families should consider both the school curriculum and CBA’s support arrangements.

Explore Fenwick and the six-school network

Fenwick High School is CBA’s featured partner. The other partners are Daystar Academy, Timothy Christian Schools, Montini Catholic High School, Walther Christian Academy, and British International School of Chicago – South Loop. A featured school is not automatically the best choice for every student. Grade level, subject interests, and the learning environment provide useful starting points for comparison.

How to use the school comparison

Start with the grade range and the curriculum the student needs. Then compare advanced learning opportunities, activities, and school size. A consultation can help narrow down the classes and activities relevant to the student. Rankings or a single statistic do not describe the whole experience; fit with the student’s goals also matters.

Plan the school and housing together

CBA’s supervised boarding in downtown Chicago is CBA’s main residential program. Managed homestay options are also available for Timothy, Montini, and Walther. Reading school profiles alongside housing information helps families compare education and daily support within one plan.

Questions families ask

Is CBA itself a high school?

No. Students study at partner schools, while CBA connects supervised housing and student support.

Is Fenwick the only option?

Fenwick is the featured partner; CBA currently has six partner schools.

Does choosing a school guarantee admission and courses?

The school determines admission and course eligibility. Selecting a school does not guarantee admission or placement in a particular class.
